Overnight Oats in a Jar

If you're a rush out the door in the morning kind of person, then this breakfast is for you! All you need is five minutes prep time on your way to bed and it's done.

This is a very versatile and forgiving recipe. You really can't go wrong with it, so add any flavours you like!

6 Base ingredients

01 Oats - great source of fibre!

02 Your milk of choice

03 Banana to add creaminess

04 Maple syrup - for sweetness

05 Cinnamon - for flavour

Mix oats, milk, and cinnamon

To start add your oats, milk of choice, and cinnamon to two jars, then stir well to ensure everything is combined.

Mix banana & peanut butter

Next, mash the banana and peanut butter together until they form a paste.

Add banana paste to oat mix

Take the banana/peanut butter paste and add to the jars with the oat mix. Stir well to ensure everything is combined.

Chill overnight

Put the lid on each jar then put them in the fridge to chill and set overnight. That's it! Now all you need to do is add you toppings in the morning.

Add toppings and enjoy!

In the morning, remove from the fridge and add your toppings of choice. Things like berries, granola and choc chips are great additions.
