Chocolate Bark - Christmas Edition

This Christmas-themed chocolate bark is a great way to make lots of gifts for friends and family with little effort. It's so quick and easy it can be made when your guests are on their way!

Once the chocolate is melted for the base it becomes a canvas that can be decorated in any number of ways. Bright and colourful toppings will make it beautiful and fun too!

Ingredients

Melt The Chocolate

Preheat the oven to 45ºC/110ºF then line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the chocolate and melt it in the oven for 10 minutes.

Swirl The Chocolate

Remove the melted chocolate from the oven and run a small spatula through it. First from side to side then top to bottom to create a swirl.

Decorate The Bark

Take your toppings and spread them across the top of the melted chocolate to decorate it. Place the tray in the fridge for an hour to firm up.

Break Up And Wrap

Break the chocolate bark into several large piece and wrap in cellophane or add to gift boxes. This will make 6 generous gift bags.

Storage

Any leftover chocolate bark can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
